Education:

2011 BA (honours) in Fine Art, Crawford College of Art and Design, Cork, Ireland.

Statement:

I see my work as painting with the camera using a mix of traditional and contemporary methods of the photographic printing process. My tools are pinhole cameras, digital cameras, scanners as well as smart-phone screens, film, print collage, and photograms. The resulting images, taken from present day subjects, evoke a sense of nostalgia about past that never was. But I have to add that I do painting as well and it is interesting to me to see the difference in subject matter between photographic process and painting as final products.

at Craft Coffee Roasters across from the FourCourts, Dublin I have a solo show of experimental Salt Prints

April 2016  I will have a solo painting exhibition at Coffee Roasters on Bridge St. Cork.
